  Awful, horrible: still no official WTBTS statement about the child abuse case

  how awful, how un-christian beheavior, how horrible for believers with a conciense.

  the wtbts, the corporations, the pr staff in brooklyn / patterson gave no official comment about the child abuse case.. only the lawyer of the "local congregation" gave some remarks.. humiliating for the victims and also for fellow believers with a conciense and good hart.

  they only can questioning why the wtbts is hiding..

  The WTBTS is too embarrassed and ashamed to comment, pure and simple.

  The scripture says: ‘….I am speaking to move you to shame……but brother goes to court with brother, and that before unbelievers.’ (1 Cor 6:5,6).

  Candace Conti tried to talk to those in charge in the organization (‘The Holy Ones’) but her cry for help fell on deaf ears. So Candace was forced to take her concerns to the court ‘before unbelievers’.

  The Society failed to follow the apostle Paul’s counsel, that of hearing Candace out and so the matter had to go to the courts, as Candace says, for the benefit of all JW children.

  And now the WTBTS is left with self-inflicted shame and embarrassment

  Barbara, do you know how long the jury deliberated before rendering their verdict? And was there anything that the jury was hung up on that slowed down there arrival at a guilty verdict? Or does anyone else know the answers?

We are members who absolutely will refuse to limit our association with our disfellowshiped loved ones in the slightest way!

  it is overdue.

  i have been reading comments on jvn, huffington, san jose mercury, nbc, and other sources.

  I’ve mentioned it to a few. I was surprised to learn they had already read about it online. Their reaction was disbelief and shock. My comment to them was ……….’the worst is yet to come for the WTBTS’.
